I love animals, and I find them to be my best friends. I currently have two cats, Zepp and Safja. The others, shown herein, are some of the previous animals that brought a lot of fun in my life.
ZEPP
Zepp, (short for Guzzeppi) an abandoned American Rag Doll cat, is my best friend. he is incredibly calm and comes with me wherever I decide to take him. He comes on walks with me, and has been up the mountain on some occasions.
He loves to join me in my car. Of course he has to be in a cat carrier; he just jumps right into the cat carrier and lets me lock him in.
He loves to sit in the most unusual places.
A new empty cardboard box is his favourite toy.
SAFJA
Safja, (means pure) is a Persian cat, which has suffered trauma due to a dog being introduced into her previous’ owner’s home. She would prefer to live on her own, and tends to be picked on by the other cats. She is slowly learning to live with other animals.
Her relationship with Zepp is that of mutual distrust!
She loves being fussed over, including being combed.

Previous (unfortuntely departed) Pets
CETTA
Cetta, (short for Concetta) an abandoned dog rescued from ADANA, was my faithful dog. She accompaned me on all my walks. She has done the Camino Mozarabe (from Granada to Merida – 400 kms), the GR7 (from Rute to Cullar, 420kms, and from Ardales to Calahorra, 340kms), Sevilla to Estepona (197kms), plus innumerable local and overseas walks.
SHAARA
Shaara, (means hair) almost a siamese, was rescued as a tiny kitten from the rubbish bins of Sotogrande. She was very ill with cat flue, and I nurtured her to health and is now a very healthy cat living in England.
ALBOR
Albor (means dawn, but masculine) used to be my real friend. I rescued him from ADANA as a new born kitten. His pregnant mum was abandoned at ADANA and died on giving birth. Albor was lost during a camping trip. He used to come everywhere with me. I miss him so much.
EBOLI
Eboli (Eboli was a famous princess with an eye patch) was an abandoned cat living unattended at the Al Bayt Resort in Estepona. I used to see her each week when we played bridge there. Then I noticed that, although she was only a young kitten, she was pregannt. I caught her and took her to the vet to get the pregnancy terminated. She then stayed at my house for about a month until someone adopted her. She was an incredibly fast learner. She soon picked up all the tricks from Albor, who loved her dearly. She is now a princess.
KELINU
Kelinu, was rescued as a kitten from the rubbish bin of Duquesa. He was a real character, very calm and one of the most playful cats ever. Unfortunately he died at the age of 5 from a collapsed lung.
VICKY
Vicky was also rescued as a tiny kitten and I had to bottle wean her. Most amazingingly beautiful cat, which is now living confortably in a house in Celima, Casares.
My Walking Friends
Whenever we go for walks I take a packet of sausages to give to the walking dogs. They know this routine and are very educated dogs.
